Job summary

Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey is seeking an Aquatics team member for the summer season. You will help keep guests safe at the wave pool or water slides and will be part of a team that emphasizes safety and excellent guest experience.

The position includes paid certification training, a focus on water-safety procedures, and opportunities to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Compensation is hourly and aligns with park policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years or older for Shallow Water License.
• Pass prerequisite skills: swim 50 yards, retrieve 10lb brick from 5ft, swim 10 ft underwater.

Responsibilities

• Six Flags provides and pays for all certification training.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced water-park environment.
• Will complete and maintain Ellis and Associates training and certification.
• Pass certification tests with 100% accuracy.
• Understand basic rescue techniques, first aid, and CPR.

Responsibilities:

• Six Flags provides & pays for all certification training.
• Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our water slides.
• Will complete and maintain Ellis and Associates training and certification.
• Pass certification tests with 100% accuracy.
• Understand basic rescue techniques, first aid, and CPR.

Qualifications:

• Must be 15 years or older for a Shallow Water License.
• Must be able to pass pre-requisite skills: Swim a distance of 50 yards, retrieve a 10lb brick from a depth of 5ft, and swim a distance of 10 feet underwater for Shallow Water License.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
