Job summary

Loch Lloyd Country Club is seeking dedicated lifeguards for the 2026 pool season. The role focuses on pool safety and exceptional guest service at our resort-style pool.

Shift options run 11:00am–6:30pm or 1:30pm–8:30pm, with 20–40 hours weekly and availability through October. Must be at least 16, with current lifeguard and CPR/First Aid/AED certifications. Training sessions are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent).
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Lifeguard experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to ensure swimmer safety at all times.
• Respond to emergencies with CPR, first aid, or other lifesaving measures.
• Enforce pool rules to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for members and guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized pool area and ensure equipment works properly.
• Assist members and guests with pool-related inquiries or concerns to provide excellent service.
• Collaborate with lifeguards and staff to uphold safety and service standards.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings as required.

Job Description Summary Loch Lloyd Country Club is seeking dedicated and reliable Lifeguards for the 2026 pool season. The ideal candidates will have a passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of pool guests, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a fun and safe environment at our resort-style pool. Candidates must be responsible, proactive, and able to handle any emergency situation effectively. Two shifts available: 11:00am to 6:30pm or 1:30pm to 8:30pm, minimum of 20 hours up to 40 hours per week. Availability needed through end of October.

Job Description Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor pool activities and ensure the safety of all swimmers at all times.


• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, administering CPR, first aid, or other lifesaving measures as needed.


• Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all members and guests.


• Maintain a clean and organized pool area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.


• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members and guests with any pool-related inquiries or concerns.


• Work as part of a team with other lifeguards and staff to maintain high standards of safety and service.


• Attend mandatory training and meetings as required by the Country Club.

Schedule & Hours:

Pool season is from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Pool is open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Flexible hours ranging from 20-40 hours per week, with varying shifts. Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is preferred.
