Job summary

Aquatech Management is hiring Lifeguards for the pool season in Suffolk County, NY. We welcome guards with or without prior experience and require availability through Labor Day. Indoor facilities may be available after the season for students balancing commitments.

We offer a starting wage of $18.00/hour with both part-time and full-time shifts. A $500 college scholarship is available for qualifying guards and end-of-season bonuses are offered for those who work through Labor Day.

Qualifications

• Valid NY DOHLifeguard Certification or equivalent.
• Current CPR/First Aid for the Professional Rescuer (completed within the past year).
• Flexible availability (weekdays, weekends, and holidays).
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the pool daily according to the schedule.
• Monitor pool activities to ensure safety at all times.
• Maintain proper pool chemical levels.
• Respond appropriately during emergencies and adverse weather conditions.
• Keep the pool and surrounding areas clean and safe.
• Assist patrons as needed.
• Strong aquatic skills.
• Ability to perform Aquatics tasks efficiently.
