The City of Green River is seeking part-time Lifeguards for year-round service at the Green River Recreation Center's pool. The role focuses on pool safety under general supervision with 10-25 hours per week. Candidates must be 15+ and hold CPR/First Aid and Lifeguard Training certificates.
Responsibilities include enforcing pool rules, performing rescues as needed, and monitoring all pool and wet room areas, with further duties as required by city needs.
Lifeguards are part-time, year-round positions working 10-25 hours per week at the Green River Recreation Center's swimming pool. Under general supervision, this position performs various duties related to pool safety.
The following functions & duties are typical for this position. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address City needs and changing business practices.
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch and twist; work with hands above shoulder height with up to 40 lbs.; work with arms extended at should height with up to 20lbs.; lift or carry 50lbs. or less and push and/or pull heavy weights (over 75lb. weights) on a regular basis.
