Job summary

Arch Amenities Group is seeking part-time Lif guards at the Mayerson JCC in Cincinnati. The Lifeguard will ensure swimmer safety, enforce pool rules, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a clean, orderly aquatic area.

The role requires CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications; shifts include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Compensation starts at $15 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all swimmers by preventative measures and minimizing hazardous situations; enforce pool rules politely.
• Provide quick response to emergencies in water/deck area.
• Conduct maintenance: adjust feeders, check pump/flow meter, vacuum pool, wash deck and pump room, clean filters, record pool readings.
• Be knowledgeable on aquatic information and programming; maintain a professional appearance.
• Be timely and punctual; ensure the aquatic area is safe, clean and orderly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Arch Amenities Group, the world's leading spa, fitness and leisure firm, is seeking part-time Lifeguards at the Mayerson JCC of Cincinnati. The Lifeguard is responsible for providing a safe and fun environment for all participants utilizing the aquatic facility.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience starting at $15/ hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all swimmers by preventative measures and minimizing hazardous situations. Enforcement of all pool rules and regulations in a polite and courteous manner.
• Provide quick response to emergency situations in water/deck area.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance: adjust feeders when necessary, check operations of pump and flow meter, vacuum pool, wash down deck and pump room, clean stainless steel and filters, record pool readings, etc.
• Be knowledgeable on all aquatic information and programming. Display a professional appearance with appropriate dress/uniform.
• Is timely and punctual when reporting to work. Ensure the aquatic area is safe, clean and orderly.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school education or comparable work experience
• Valid CPR certification
• Valid standard First Aid certification
• Valid Lifeguard certification from the American Red Cross
• Effective leadership skills and a strong work ethic
