Job summary

Shaw JCC in Akron, OH is seeking energetic lifeguards for its indoor pool. You will monitor swimmers, stay attentive, and respond quickly to emergencies, following American Red Cross safety guidelines.

Qualifications

As a lifeguard, you’ll spend your time watching over swimmers, staying alert and rescue-ready, and stepping in when help is needed. You’ll follow American Red Cross safety and emergency guidelines, enforce pool rules with care and professionalism, and provide first aid or rescues when necessary. You’ll also help keep the pool running smoothly by checking water chemistry, inspecting the pool area before and after shifts, and making sure equipment is clean, organized, and in good condition.

Education and Qualifications
