Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville is seeking a Critical Care Paramedic for the LifeFlight Helipad Transport Team to provide advanced pre-hospital and inter-facility care. Schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, working exclusively overnight hours on the LifeFlight transport roster.

Required: Paramedic license with Tennessee Critical Care Endorsement and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/PHTLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license with TN Critical Care Endorsement (preferred for TN applicants)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, PHTLS
• Experience in critical care transport and pre-hospital care preferred

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers goal-focused, patient-centered care per LifeFlight and VUMC standards
• Maintains complete and accurate documentation of care and interventions
• Participates in quality improvement activities and evidence-based practice
• Collaborates with team to ensure safe handoff and continuity of care
