Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Pilates Anytime
Help people discover a Pilates practice they'll want to return to.
We’re seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own how Pilates Anytime engages, converts, and retains members throughout their journey.
From someone's first introduction to Pilates Anytime through their trial, ongoing practice, and potential return as a former member, you will help create experiences that feel relevant, personal, and valuable.
You will set the strategy, write messages people look forward to, and build the journeys yourself. If you love both a great subject line and clean trigger logic, we’d love to meet you.

What you’ll do
Own the member relationship, and the numbers behind it
- Own lifecycle marketing strategies that improve trial-to-paid conversion, early retention and winback as business results, not just channel metrics.
- Map and continuously improve the full lifecycle: curious visitor, sign‑up starter, free trial, new member, devoted member, at‑risk member and former member.
- Give Pilates Anytime one warm, consistent voice across email, push notifications, in‑app messages and newsletters.
Build journeys that feel personal
- Design, build, QA and launch multi-step, multi-channel journeys in Iterable, with branching, timing and suppression logic.
- Own push notification journeys across our iOS, Android and TV apps: permission strategy, timing, frequency and deep links that take members straight to the right class.
- Design in‑app messages that guide members at the right moment, such as a first‑class nudge, a new program to try, or a reason to stay before they cancel.
- Use behavioral event data from Segment to reach members when it matters: after a first class, a missed week or a new milestone.
- Analyze member engagement, class preferences, and viewing behaviors to identify opportunities for more relevant, personalized communications.
- Leverage established audience segments, member preferences, and behavioral data to create personalized lifecycle journeys that improve engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Protect the health of our list through deliverability, frequency caps and preference management.
Partner across the team
- Work with product and engineering to define and ship the events and data your journeys need.
- Work with paid, organic, and content teams to create messages that look and feel like Pilates Anytime.
- Share lifecycle performance and member behavior insights with Product and Content to help inform the broader member experience.
Test, learn, and share
- Run A/B and holdout tests across journeys to measure real lift, and keep a running log of what you learn.
- Analyze and report on lifecycle performance, including trial-to-paid conversion, engagement, retention, and reactivation. Identify trends and opportunities by audience segment and acquisition source, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Use AI tools where they help you analyze faster, test more, and write better.
Connect content to the member journey
Partner with Content and acquisition teams to connect free content, newsletters, and educational resources to lifecycle goals, helping prospective members discover Pilates Anytime and existing members find relevant content that keeps them engaged.
What success looks like in your first year
- A redesigned welcome and free‑trial communications journey that measurably lifts trial engagement and trial-to‑paid conversion.
- A nurturing path that supports early member engagement and carries new members from their first payment to their second.
- A journey that brings sign‑up starters back to finish joining.
- A compelling winback program to reengage past members.
- A consistent testing and reporting program that measures lifecycle marketing's impact on engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Personalized lifecycle journeys that reflect established audience priorities, member interests, and engagement behaviors.
What you bring
- 4+ years in lifecycle, CRM or retention marketing, ideally at a subscription, streaming or membership business.
- Hands‑on experience building journeys in Iterable, Braze, Customer.io, Klaviyo or a similar platform. You’ve built them yourself across email, push and in-app, not just briefed them.
- Comfort with event‑based data and customer data platforms like Segment. You can write a clear spec a developer can build from.
- Experience taking ownership of measurable lifecycle marketing outcomes. Be ready to walk us through a journey you built, how you measured its impact, and what you learned.
- A gift for words. Your subject lines, push notifications and newsletters all sound like the same warm, credible brand.
- A testing mindset: curious, hypothesis‑driven and honest about what the data says.
- Comfort with analytics beyond your ESP’s dashboard, such as GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude or a BI tool.
- Real empathy for members. You want to understand why someone left before deciding what to say to them.
- Experience using audience segments, behavioral data, and cohort analysis to improve lifecycle marketing performance.
Bonus points
- You practice Pilates, or another movement discipline, and understand what keeps people coming back.
- Experience with content marketing and SEO, or managing freelance writers.
- Can pull and analyze member data yourself (SQL a plus), such as tracking how long different groups of members stay subscribed.
- HTML/CSS for email, or experience with Handlebars personalization.

Why you’ll love it here

- A mission that matters. Every message you send helps someone move, feel stronger and find joy in their practice.
- The tools and support to make an impact. Iterable, Segment, and collaboration with product and engineering to build smarter, more personalized member experiences.
- A beloved brand. A passionate global community and hundreds of the industry’s best teachers.
- Benefits. Healthcare, a 401(k) with company match, and a generous vacation policy.
