Primary Responsibilities
  • Build and deploy email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement using Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.
  • Own end‑to‑end campaign execution, including audience segmentation, data extensions, SQL queries, dynamic content, personalization, send configuration, and deployment.
  • Build and optimize Journey Builder programs, including entry criteria, decision logic, cadence, re‑entry rules, suppression logic, and exit criteria.
  • Configure and QA landing pages, forms, and CloudPages supporting prospect, event, advisor, and client engagement programs.
  • Own lifecycle strategy for assigned programs, including prospecting, nurture, pre‑consultation, client engagement, and advisor‑facing journeys.
  • Translate business objectives into journey architecture, audience definitions, contact strategies, testing plans, and measurable success criteria.
  • Develop and manage A/B and multivariate testing across subject lines, content, send timing, audience treatments, and journey paths.
  • Analyze campaign and journey performance and recommend improvements to segmentation, personalization, cadence, content, and journey logic.
  • Execute recurring and one‑time communications for Focus Partners and affiliated firms, including newsletters, event invitations, and lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Own campaign QA and release readiness across audience accuracy, content, links, data mapping, tracking, rendering, deliverability, and compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve data issues, deliverability incidents, failed automations, audience errors, and journey failures.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, Content, Client Development, Compliance, CRM, IT, and agency partners to translate briefs into production‑ready campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the broader Marketing Cloud team on data extensions, integrations, reusable components, documentation, platform governance, and build standards.
  • Maintain campaign tracking and documentation, including UTMs, naming conventions, audience definitions, journey logic, testing, and change history.
  • Apply AI tools to accelerate content iteration, personalization, documentation, testing, and campaign QA.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing, or marketing automation.
  • At least three years of recent, hands‑on experience building and deploying in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, formerly ExactTarget.
  • Production experience with Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio is required.
  • Experience creating and managing data extensions, SQL‑based audience segmentation, journey logic, dynamic content, personalization, and automated workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to own both lifecycle strategy and the hands‑on technical execution required to launch it.
  • Experience with campaign QA, troubleshooting, deliverability, subscription management, and CAN‑SPAM or GDPR requirements.
  • Experience supporting client‑facing or regulated communications is a plus; financial services, wealth management, banking, insurance, or healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Experience with AMPscript, CloudPages, HTML/CSS, APIs, Marketing Cloud integrations, Data 360/Data Cloud, Snowflake, Salesforce CRM, or HubSpot is a plus.
