Job summary

Geotrek Vans in Boulder, CO seeks a senior email, lifecycle, and CRM marketer to own HubSpot flows, site copy, and lifecycle programs from initial email through delivery and ownership.

You will collaborate with sales, use AI judiciously to protect the brand voice, and travel to industry events 3-5 times per year while leveraging 5+ years of email marketing experience to drive revenue.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years in email, lifecycle, CRM, or conversion marketing with revenue ownership.
  • Hands-on fluency in HubSpot, or an equivalent platform.
  • Experience working directly with a sales team rather than around one.
  • Deliberate use of AI, paired with the judgment to keep a brand voice intact.
  • Travel to 3-5 industry events a year and some weekend availability for events and peak showing periods.
  • Helpful: long sales cycles and considered purchases, direct-to-consumer without a dealer layer, conversion copywriting, SEO or AEO.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of every HubSpot flow and every word on the site and the blog.
  • Segmentation built on real behavior, drawing on configurator activity, model interest, and consultation history.
  • Contact strategy governing cadence, priority, and suppression, so nobody hears from us four times in a week.
  • Database health, deliverability, privacy compliance, and QA before anything ships.

Job description

We design and hand-build premium off-grid camper vans that turn "someday" into a road trip this weekend, selling direct so adventure isn't taxed by dealer markups. We believe great products come from real-world testing and honest craftsmanship - and whether you're behind the build or behind the scenes, everyone here plays a part in getting people out the door and onto the road.

The Role

A Geotrek Van is a considered purchase. People may spend months deciding, and much of that journey happens in two places: our website and their inbox. That means leading the strategy and executing every HubSpot flow and every word on the site and the blog. The work is execution heavy and strategy driven in equal measure, so expect to define a journey on Monday and build it in HubSpot on Tuesday. This is a senior individual contributor role, helping define what happens once someone reaches the site, and everything that happens in their inbox afterward.

What You'll Own
Email and HubSpot
  • Every automated journey, nurture stream, and triggered campaign, including the weekly van email and every model and pricing launch sequence
  • Segmentation built on real behavior, drawing on configurator activity, model interest, and consultation history
  • Contact strategy governing cadence, priority, and suppression, so nobody hears from us four times in a week
  • Database health, deliverability, privacy compliance, and QA before anything ships
Website and Blog Copy
  • Model pages, financing, service, comparison, configurator microcopy, and the after-purchase pages we have not built yet
  • A blog plan built to earn organic and AI search visibility rather than to fill a calendar
  • The voice, held steady across every owned surface, including pages you did not write
Lifecycle Programs
  • The journey map end to end, from first email through consult, reservation, build, delivery, and ownership, kept current as the product and the sales process change
  • The nurture and stalled-deal program - around a hundred deals sit quiet at any time, and restarting them is one of our clearest revenue levers
  • The build window - months pass between deposit and delivery, and what we send during that stretch shapes both referrals and how delivery day goes
  • The post-purchase program that barely exists today, covering the first 90 days of ownership, referral, add-ons, upgrades, and service
  • The handoff with Sales, including what makes someone sales-ready and what we say when a deal goes quiet
Campaigns and Marketing Ops
  • The campaign calendar across owned channels, so a launch, a price change, or an event lands as one coordinated moment rather than four disconnected ones
  • Briefing the pieces you do not write yourself and keeping paid, social, and PR pointed at the same message and the same landing page
  • The HubSpot backbone: lists, forms, properties, lead routing, attribution setup, and the integrations that feed it, with our HubSpot consultant on anything structural
  • A testing roadmap across audience, offer, subject line, timing, and page copy
  • Reporting on conversion, stalled-deal recovery, and attributed revenue - this role carries a forecast
What You Bring
  • You are a genuinely strong writer - this matters more than anything else here
  • Five or more years in email, lifecycle, CRM, or conversion marketing, with real ownership of a program that had revenue attached to it
  • Hands-on fluency in HubSpot, or an equivalent platform and a fast path to HubSpot
  • Comfort in the data - you can build the segment, read the cohort, and tell a result from a coincidence
  • Experience working directly with a sales team rather than around one
  • Deliberate use of AI, paired with the judgment to keep a brand voice intact - we use AI here, and we do not publish anything that sounds like it
  • Travel to 3-5 industry events a year and some weekend availability for events and peak showing periods
  • Helpful: long sales cycles and considered purchases, direct-to-consumer without a dealer layer, conversion copywriting, SEO or AEO
What Success Looks Like
  • First 90 days. Every active flow is inventoried, the broken and duplicated ones are retired, and you know the funnel better than anyone here.
  • Six months. A documented journey map with an owned program at every stage, a stalled-deal program running against a measured baseline, and site copy that says the same thing on every page.
  • Twelve months. Lifecycle is a named line in the forecast, and the post-purchase program is generating revenue we do not collect today.
  • Throughout. Nothing ships without QA, and someone reading three of our pages and two of our emails would not be able to tell they had different authors.
Work Environment & Physical Demands

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act.

This is primarily a desk-based, high-autonomy role: extended computer and screen time, regular phone/video calls, and the strategic-to-detailed thinking required to move between big-picture planning and hands-on execution under recurring deadline pressure. Occasional travel to 3-5 industry events a year, with some weekend availability, extended time on your feet, and light lifting up to ~25-30 lbs. The role is primarily indoor and climate-controlled, with standard facility safety awareness on the shop floor and normal trade-show/event practices while traveling.

Benefits:

401(k) with 4% match; health insurance reimbursement program; monthly wellness reimbursement

Schedule:

Full-time, on-site in Boulder, CO, five days per week; some weekend availability required
