Job summary

Sherpa 6 is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) to provide Integrated Product Support and lifecycle logistics for DoW acquisition programs. You will plan, coordinate, execute, and assess logistics activities to keep systems supportable, maintainable, deployable, and compliant with Army and DoW policies.

Responsibilities include developing LCSPs, IPS elements, and provisioning documentation; coordinating with IPTs and PMs; and ensuring readiness and sustainment through lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 4–8 years of DoW logistics or acquisition logistics experience.
• Experience supporting Army/DoW acquisition programs.
• Working knowledge of IPS, Life Cycle Logistics, PSA, Supply Chain Management, and Property Accountability.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Support Life Cycle Logistics activities throughout system acquisition and sustainment.
• Develop, review, and update logistics documentation (LCSP, IPS Elements, Maintenance Plans, Provisioning docs, Fielding/Transition Plans).
• Coordinate logistics planning with PMs, Engineers, Product Support Managers, and IPTs.
• Analyze logistics support requirements and recommend improvements to readiness, reliability, maintainability, and sustainment.
• Monitor GFP/GFE accountability.
• Assist with inventory management, provisioning, transportation planning, and supply chain coordination.
• Prepare logistics reports, briefings, metrics, and milestone documentation.
• Support fielding events, logistics demos, testing activities, and NET as needed.
• Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition regs, Army logistics policies, and FAR/DFARS.
• Participate in IPTs, CCBs, and PMRs.
