Axiom Space Inc. is seeking a resilient and high-energy Life Support Systems (LSS) Mechanical Engineer in Houston, Texas. This position involves developing and maturing hardware for the Axiom Extravehicular Activity (EVA) Spacesuit.

The ideal candidate should have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience. Key duties include defining space suit standards, generating CAD models, and communicating project progress.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in life support engineering or similar role preferred.
• Strong understanding of space environments affecting design.
• Hands-on experience in building, testing, and assembling hardware.

Responsibilities

• Communicate project progress to stakeholders.
