Responsibilities

  • Local Administration: Set regional class schedules with Director and partners, manage rosters and e-card paperwork.
  • Remediation Management: Provide structured student remediation for those not meeting passing criteria.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain and track resuscitation manikins and training site supplies.
  • Instructor Coordination: Assist in certifying and scheduling adjunct AHA instructors for large cohorts.
  • Professional Development & Knowledge Sharing: Attend national/regional conferences and lead airway training sessions as needed.
  • Multi-Site Mobility: Travel between university locations and regional campuses as required.

Job Description

The Life Support Skills Coordinator, located at the Brandon Fl campus, executes regional delivery, instructor allocation, and skills verification for American Heart Association ( AHA ) courses across their designated geographic campus cluster. This role ensures that student certifications are processed swiftly and compliant with all emergency cardiovascular care guidelines.

This role reports directly to the Director of Life Support Skills Education

Required Qualifications

Valid AHA BLS / ACLS / PALS Instructor credentials required (Qualified Individual).

2+ years of active experience teaching life support skills
