Qualifications

• Current license holder of the Georgia Board of Physical Therapy.
• Associate Degree is required.
• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Minimum of 1 year PTA experience; new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical therapy per plan of care.
• Provides quality rehabilitative care as outlined in the plan.
• Completes required documentation according to standards.
• Notifies therapist of patient progress and suggests plan changes.
• Assists in discharge planning and home exercise program setup.
• Ensures reevaluation of patient and plan of care as needed.
• Collaborates with staff while adhering to state practice act and ethics.
