Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or 48 postsecondary credits.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Knowledge of community resources and agencies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; strong organization and collaboration.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instructional support to students.
• Supports students with personal care skills including toileting, handwashing, dressing; implement applied behavior analysis techniques.
• Supports and assists students with the completion of assigned tasks either individually or in small groups.
• Implement students’ behavior plans.
• Collect data.
• Apply therapeutic aggression control techniques.
• Performs related duties as required.
• Supports students within the general education classrooms when necessary.
