Responsibilities

• Prepare instructional materials and classroom displays with the teacher.
• Maintain a neat, orderly classroom and assist with equipment care.
• Keep administrative records and reports as required.
• Orient and assist substitute teachers when needed.
• Assist students with physical disabilities and daily care as required.
• Support mobility, feeding, hygiene, and personal care needs.
• Assist with behavior management and crisis intervention as needed.
• Supervise students during the school day, including meals, bus, and recess.
• Communicate special needs or problems to the teacher timely.
