Job summary

Grandview School District is seeking a paraprofessional to assist with student supervision and instruction. You’ll work under a certified teacher, supporting students including those who are medically fragile, in classroom and small-group settings.

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university, have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher.
• Must pass the state paraeducator assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the supervision and instruction of students.
• This position will work closely with students who are medically fragile.
• Under the supervision of a certified teacher, working with individual and/or small groups of students in a classroom.
• Monitoring students in a variety of settings such as classroom, playground, cafeteria, library, etc.
