Farmsteads of New England is growing and seeks compassionate Mentors to support individuals diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities and brain disorders. You’ll help participants reach personal goals, participate in community activities, and promote independence with dignity and respect.

Daily duties include direct support, personal care as needed, medication administration, record keeping, and maintaining a safe, positive living environment.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background screenings per applicable regulations.
• 18 years or older at time of hire.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize kindness, dignity, respect, communication and integrity.
• Provide direct support services in a manner that is convenient and supportive.
• Provide person-centered services and assist individuals with independence goals.
• Administer medications as needed and maintain accurate records.
• Create and maintain a safe working environment and perform other duties as assigned.
