Qualifications

• Warm, reliable, patient, and able to build trust.
• Strong communication skills and good judgment.
• Interest or experience in mentoring, coaching, education, recreation, behavioral health, human services, disability services, or caregiving is a plus.
• Ability to complete required background checks, onboarding, and training.
• Reliable transportation and driving credentials when required by an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in community recreation, exercise, events, and volunteering.
• Coach daily living, social, communication, and independence skills.
• Help individuals build routines, confidence, and community connection.
• Support progress toward individualized goals while honoring preferences.
• Provide companionship and model appropriate communication and relationships.
• Assist with daily routines and support needs as assigned.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized instructions, reporting concerns promptly.
• Complete required documentation and maintain reliable attendance and communication.
