Job summary

Sevita is hiring a Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver in Mount Prospect, IL area. The role offers afternoons with possible overnights and weekend shifts, paying $18–$20 per hour to support individuals in living skills and daily activities.

You will work with individuals in residential and community settings, assisting with meals, hygiene, transportation, and medication administration while collaborating with clinical staff on therapeutic plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Six months to one year in human services.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be 21+ and pass background checks.
• Caring attitude and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, assistance and supervision in living skills and therapeutic activities.
• Assist with daily activities: meal prep, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and med administration.
• Support community involvement by transportation and outings.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
