Sevita Maine is hiring Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver to support residents in living skills, recreation and daily activities in home and community settings. You will assist with meals, hygiene, shopping and transportation, while coordinating with clinicians to implement care plans.

The role emphasizes a caring, reliable and detail-oriented approach, with paid training for certifications and opportunities for career growth. Evening shifts and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Six months to one year of experience in the human services field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks.
• Demonstrates a caring attitude with attention to detail and strong communication.
• Shows reliability, responsibility and a compassionate approach to clients.
• Committed to quality in all duties and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, assistance and supervision in living skills and recreational activities.
• Assist with daily activities including meals, personal hygiene, shopping and medications.
• Support relationships with employers and community involvement during outings or transport.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to reinforce therapy and behavioral plans.
