Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP in New York seeks associates to join its Technology & Life Sciences practice. You will work on life sciences commercial agreements, including cross-border collaborations and licensing, and support IP transactional work for M&A, royalty monetization, and capital markets.

Candidates with 3+ years in a large law firm and a science background are preferred; admission to the New York bar or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of life sciences partnering, collaboration, and licensing experience in a large law firm.
• Experience with life sciences commercial agreements and cross-border matters.
• Undergraduate or graduate science degree preferred but not required.
• Admitted or eligible to seek admission to the New York bar.

Responsibilities

• Work on life sciences commercial agreements including supply and manufacturing agreements, master services agreements, research agreements, and clinical trial agreements.
• Provide IP transaction support for M&A, royalty monetization, and capital markets.
• Collaborate with teams on cross-border matters within a large firm setting.
