Job summary

Clayco is a full-service real estate development and construction firm seeking a Project Director to lead design-build projects in the Life Sciences/Biotech/Pharmaceuticals sector. You will serve as the single point of contact for owners, design teams, and staff, ensuring quality and timely execution on projects ranging from $60 million to $250+ million.

You will collaborate with marketing, pre-construction, business-unit leaders, and mentoring Project Managers and Engineers, with nationwide

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
15–20 years of experience in managing construction projects ($100M+).
Proven knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
Experience leading a project management team.
Ability to access job site, climb ladders, and scaffold safely.
Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Build client and subcontractor relationships.
Team with Architects, Engineers, and Planners to create and manage a design schedule.
Establish project forecasts and budgets.
Manage costs.
Accept full responsibility for project execution.
Mentor and develop project management staff.
