Job summary

CRB is seeking a Process Engineer Intern to contribute to real-world projects in the life sciences and related industries. You will work under a mentor to develop deliverables across pharmaceutical, biotech, and industrial settings, including renovations and new constructions.

The internship runs May–August 2027, with exposure to design and engineering of facilities, systems, and utilities, and opportunities to learn from industry leaders in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or Biochemical Engineering.
• Available to work full-time during the internship period: May–August 2027.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
• Strong interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industries.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and with stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering applications.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a Process Engineer mentor to develop and implement project deliverables.
• Projects vary in size and include pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, or industrial work.
• Support documentation of process design scope in coordination with other disciplines.
• Contribute to design and engineering of facilities and equipment and support facility infrastructure and utilities.
