Barry-Wehmiller Design Group is seeking a Process Engineer with life sciences focus in Oak Brook, IL. You will lead pharmaceutical and biologics process system engineering projects from concept through startup, collaborating with clients and internal experts to deliver compliant solutions.

You’ll bring 5+ years of experience in aseptic fill/finish, purification, and blood fractionation, plus a BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Bio Engineering. Travel and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead system owner responsibilities across design, procurement, commissioning and startup.
• Collaborate with CQV teams on qualification and validation.
• Provide technical support for regulatory readiness and process improvements.
• Interface with clients and OEMs to develop specifications and layouts.
