Job summary

BW Design Group in the United States is seeking a Process Engineer (System Owner) with 5–10 years of pharmaceutical and biologics experience to join our Life Sciences team. You will design and own aseptic fill/finish, purification, or blood fractionation systems, guiding projects from initial client contact through startup and handover.

You’ll work with industry experts, coordinate with OEM and design-build partners, ensure regulatory compliance (FDA/EMA/ICh), and contribute to design reviews,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical and biologics process system engineering/design experience.
• Experience in aseptic fill/finish, purification, and/or blood fractionation processes.
• Knowledge of process definition means and methods, including identification of process unit operations.
• Experience with the regulatory standards and guidance listed above.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with team members and clients.
• Computer skills including AutoCAD (basic), Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project (basic).
• Willing and able to travel as necessary for project requirements.
• BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Bio Engineering is preferred; other engineering degrees considered based on project experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and design life science process systems across the project lifecycle.
• Provide System Owner input in process area discussions and workshops.
• Collaborate with OEM and design-build partners for procurement, commissioning, and startup.
• Support regulatory compliance and quality activities.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to align objectives.
