Job summary

IPM is seeking an Associate Consultant in the pharmaceutical sector to partner with client leadership and delivery teams, driving project planning and execution across functions to achieve mission-critical outcomes.

You will lead product development projects through pre-clinical R&D to lifecycle management, applying best-practice PM processes and leveraging tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, and Planisware. This role emphasizes collaboration and adaptive learning in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of industry experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• 2+ years of project management experience related to IPM's offerings (product development, regulatory submissions, commercialization, etc.).
• Disciplined project management process knowledge; Six Sigma and PM certifications are a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects and programs in the pharmaceutical industry from pre-clinical through lifecycle management.
• Implement or optimize project management frameworks using current best practices and tools.
• Utilize tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, and Planisware to develop and drive integrated project plans.
• Manage projects within scope, schedule and budget while upholding IPM standards.
• Participate in discussions and document high-level strategies for objectives.
• Lead high-performance project teams and act as project advocate within the client organization.
