Job summary

GBA is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for its Life Sciences group in Broomfield, CO. You will contribute to the design of mechanical systems for bio-pharma projects, preparing construction documents and reviewing shop drawings as part of an integrated team.

The role requires ongoing pursuit of an engineering degree, familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Excel, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• GPA 2.7 strongly preferred.
• Finished at least two years of school.
• Prior internship or related experience is a plus.
• Involvement in campus or community activities is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents for various systems.
• Review shop drawings and RFIs.
• Verify permitting and code requirements.
• Conduct facility evaluations and engineering studies.
• Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
