Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an IP Litigation Associate for their Washington, DC office, specializing in Life Sciences and ANDA cases. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of significant patent litigation experience, particularly in U.S. District Courts, and must be comfortable with client interactions and court proceedings.

This role involves a range of duties including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and engaging in strategic case development. The firm offers comprehensive benefits, generous vacation, and parental leave policies.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of significant patent litigation experience in U.S. District Courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
• Experience with ANDA and/or other life sciences patent litigation.
• Comfortable speaking directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Willingness to actively participate in strategic case development.

Responsibilities

• Participate in underlying case analyses and conduct factual and legal research.
• Draft pleadings and participate in discovery on infringement, validity, and damages issues.
• Conduct depositions and engage in expert discovery.
• Research and draft dispositive and discovery motions and claim construction briefing.
• Participate in pre-trial and trial activities.
