Job summary

Mentor Technical Group seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to plan, organize, and supervise maintenance and operations for facilities supporting FDA-regulated clients. You will lead craft workers, ensure compliance with laws, and manage safety and documentation.

Bachelor's in Science or Engineering is required; MBA/MS/ME preferred. The role emphasizes project coordination, contract review, and delivering high-quality facilities services in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering discipline.
• MBA, MS or ME preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and organizes facility maintenance repairs and operation.
• Schedules the work of craft workers including HVAC, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and painters.
• Directs repairs, installations, remodeling, grounds improvements; coordinates with other departments.
• Ensures compliance with state, federal, local laws and codes pertaining to buildings.
• Supervises emergency repairs; inspects work; plans and estimates maintenance and repair work.
• May administer contracts; reviews contractor work for timeliness and quality.
• Analyzes maintenance problems and provides written reports with solutions.
• Prepares accident reports; maintains safety records and arranges safety training.
• Monitors facilities operating condition within regulatory and customer requirements.
• Demonstrates customer-oriented service and communicates updates timely.
• Maintains documentation; ensures accuracy and organization.
• Manages technical issues and guarantees high-quality client service.
• Develops customer relations and new business opportunities; represents MENTOR professionally.
• Alerts management to problems and recommends improvements.
• Team player committed to quality environment; complies with company policies.
• Supports ongoing operations as assigned by leadership.
