Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead operations for Life Sciences/Pharma GMP/GXP buildings in the DFW area. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, coordinate maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance.

Travel up to 30% and on-site presence three days a week at the Irving client site. The role emphasizes stakeholder relationships, capital project oversight, and continuous process improvements within CBRE's RISE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5–8 years of relevant experience; valid driver's license.
• FM operations leadership experience in Life Sciences/Pharma GMP/GXP environments.
• Staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance management experience.
• Ability to communicate sensitive information and set performance expectations.
• Leadership to motivate the team toward operational targets.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, track training, conduct evaluations, and recruit.
• Plan daily activities, schedules, tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and resolve facility issues.
• Oversee capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and implement efficiencies and safety measures.
• Develop environmental health and safety procedures.
• Manage vendor relations and approve purchase orders.
