Job summary
Anthropic seeks a Life Sciences Industry Advisor to be the technical and scientific face of Claude for leading pharma, biotech, CROs and research institutions. You will fuse deep life sciences expertise with credibility to architect AI solutions across drug discovery and development, while strengthening Anthropic's position in a tightly regulated industry.
Your role includes evangelism, strategic customer engagement, product roadmap influence, pricing strategy, internal enablement, regulatory
Qualifications
- Twenty-plus years in scientific, technology, or business roles with senior leadership in pharma/biotech or life sciences.
- Deep domain expertise across stages of drug discovery and development with hands-on systems experience.
- Executive networks across Life Sciences R&D and credibility as a thought leader.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements (FDA/EMA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) and compliant technology.
- Experience influencing product roadmaps based on customer feedback and market needs.
Responsibilities
- Represent Anthropic's scientific and technical vision to life sciences audiences through conferences, briefings, whitepapers, and advisory boards.
- Serve as executive sponsor for strategic life sciences accounts with senior leaders and AI stakeholders.
- Translate customer requirements into product priorities with Product and Research teams.
- Contribute to pricing and packaging decisions based on market insight across discovery to commercial functions.
- Create enablement content and train GTM teams on life sciences domain expertise.
- Navigate AI governance frameworks aligned with FDA/EMA expectations and data integrity standards.
- Build technical partnerships with GSIs, cloud providers, and life sciences vendors.
