Job summary

Artefact is seeking a Director/Senior Director to lead and grow its Life Sciences practice in the United States. You will blend commercial expertise with data and analytics fluency to deliver rigorous, modern solutions for pharma/biotech clients.

The role requires building a pipeline, winning engagements, and leading multidisciplinary teams while collaborating with a global network to bring GenAI capabilities into client conversations.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in consulting, analytics, or industry roles in Life Sciences.
• Strong understanding of pharma/biotech commercial lifecycle.
• Experience engaging commercial leaders (VP of Sales, VP of Marketing, Chief Commercial Officer).
• Proven ability to lead business development and build client relationships.
• Ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and mentor talent.

Responsibilities

• Build and own a pipeline of Life Sciences clients and expand relationships.
• Lead end-to-end pursuits: identify opportunities, develop proposals, close engagements.
• Engage C-suite and VP-level stakeholders as trusted thought partner.
• Represent Artefact externally through industry events and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with Artefact's global network to bring GenAI and data engineering into client conversations.
• Lead delivery of high-impact engagements in analytics and AI use-case development.
• Pilot multidisciplinary teams of consultants, data scientists and data engineers and develop talent.
• Contribute to Life Sciences practice-building with offerings and POVs.
