Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in actuarial science or related quantitative field.
• Programming experience in Python, R or SQL is required.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency is expected.
• Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Chief Actuary on pricing, reserving, risk analysis, forecasting and strategic decisions.
• Develop tools and scripts to improve actuarial processes and outputs.
• Maintain and improve actuarial models for pricing and reserving.
• Prepare exhibits and reports for stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitor rate analyses.
• Document work clearly and communicate findings across teams.
