Arlington High School seeks a Life Science Teacher to join our high school faculty. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in biological sciences and skilled at delivering engaging, rigorous instruction aligned with state standards. The teacher will foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and a love of learning in a diverse student population.
Candidates must have appropriate licensure and a willingness to learn and grow as an educator. Candidates must also be willing to deliver science instruction according to State and District Curriculum Standards. Candidates must also be willing to collaborate with colleagues in the Science Department, Special Education department, and other colleagues.
Arlington has a well established new teacher induction program with mentoring throughout the school year.
Salary and Benefits are consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Arlington School Committee and the Arlington Education Association.
