Job summary

LifeSpire of Virginia is seeking a Safety & Security Manager to lead our security and concierge teams, oversee campus safety operations, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. The role focuses on improving safety, coordinating with local services, and enhancing resident experiences through strong leadership.

The position requires coordinating across shifts, driving security processes, and managing transportation-related quality controls as part of the facilities team.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in security teams and concierge services.
• Experience managing campus safety operations including fire safety and drills.
• Ability to design, implement and monitor security processes and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop security and concierge team across all shifts; handle hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Oversee campus safety operations including fire safety compliance, emergency preparedness planning, and after-hours drills.
• Manage access control, badge systems, call box programming, and parking operations for a safe environment.
• Serve as liaison with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services.
• Conduct campus investigations and follow-up on incident reports.
