Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience with Safety System Design.
• Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design requirements.
• Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems and manufacturers’ equipment, including VESDA systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver code-compliant fire and life safety solutions.
• Take ownership as Engineer of Record and guide teams.
• Interface with clients and code officials for compliance.
• Create 3D BIM models and design systems using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Produce calculations, specifications, and construction deliverables.
