Mission Hospital McDowell, a member of Mission Health and an operating division of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Life Safety and Environment of Care Specialist to implement and oversee Life Safety, Fire Safety, and EOC programs across the hospital and affiliated properties.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate safety audits, guide space allocation, and provide leadership in safety training and contractor oversight to maintain a safe patient environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; ten years of related healthcare management experience.
• Valid NC driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days; at least 18 years old.
• CHFM certification preferred; strong knowledge of NFPA 101 and 99.
• Minimum 1 year of life safety or healthcare safety program experience.
• Preferred 10 years of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and manage Life Safety, Fire protection, and EOC programs across Mission Hospital and ambulatory sites.
• Ensure compliance with Life Safety, fire, regulator, and accreditation standards.
• Coordinate investigations of safety-related incidents and code inspections.
• Provide technical guidance to designers, contractors, architects, and engineers.
• Lead hospital space allocation planning and ensure efficient departmental layouts.
