Job Summary

TruStage’s Preplanning Solutions team is looking for motivated individuals to join a large implementation of Oracle’s OIPA policy administration system. The OIPA implementation is a multi‑year project and is a foundational component of a strategic transformation of IT systems currently underway.

Job Purpose

This expert‑level analyst/designer position analyzes business application needs and designs application systems that are efficient, dependable, maintainable, and consistent with existing standards.

The incumbent works independently with minimal supervision and mentors other staff to improve productivity and provide leadership to the development team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze business acceptance criteria and design efficient, dependable, maintainable applications logic.
  • Interpret and refine acceptance criteria, generating value‑add documentation.
  • Test and debug production programs and development modules to isolate and eliminate problems.
  • Design and code program logic that aligns with specifications, standards, and existing programs, ensuring compliance with the SDLC.
  • Resolve production problems, identify outage causes, and implement preventive measures.
  • Improve availability and performance of production systems, acting as an internal technical consultant.
  • Lead by example in customer focus, provide service to clients, and continuously improve work processes.
  • Mentor less experienced programmers and contribute positively to the team.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7 years of recent work experience, including at least three years of recent experience analyzing and designing application systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, determine root cause, and resolve complex system issues while implementing productivity and process improvements.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills in unfamiliar situations.
  • Effective teamwork, peer leadership, and mentorship for programmers/analysts.
  • Team orientation with willingness to support Sprint or Kanban commitments.
  • Excellent communication skills, conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical users.
Preferred Experience

OIPA experience, including data structure and translation, migration of policy and client data, and management and monitoring.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $108,100.00 – $162,200.00.
