Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a supervisor for the Life Premium Accounting department. You will lead and develop a team of accounting professionals while overseeing daily premium accounting operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred in accounting/finance/business or related field.
  • At least two years of management, supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Experience in accounting, premium accounting, insurance operations, financial services or related business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to team members to achieve goals.
  • Train, develop and mentor associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Monitor team performance, productivity and quality standards for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback for growth.
  • Identify process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Resolve complex issues and escalations with leadership collaboration.
  • Communicate department objectives, progress and results to management.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analyze operational data and reporting to support business decisions and initiatives.

Our Life Premium Accounting department seeks a supervisor. This role is responsible for leading and developing a team of accounting professionals while overseeing daily premium accounting operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency and exceptional service. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. Some departments at our Headquarters offer a hybrid work option that may vary depending on your role and responsibilities.

Starting pay:

The pay range for this position is $26.44- $31.25 per hour. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:

Bring education and experience from:
  • a high school diploma or equivalent (required); a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field (preferred)
  • at least two years of management, supervisory or team lead experience
  • experience in accounting, premium accounting, insurance operations, financial services or a related business environment
