Job summary

MPI® Unlimited, LLC is seeking an experienced Underwriting & Agent Support Specialist to serve as the primary liaison between our agents, clients, carriers, and underwriting partners once an application has been submitted. This role manages the underwriting and policy placement process from submission through policy delivery and funding, with a focus on timely progression and high service levels.

Based in Gilbert, Arizona, this full-time, onsite position emphasizes collaboration with carriers

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of life insurance underwriting support, case management, or brokerage operations experience.
• Strong understanding of life insurance underwriting processes and carrier requirements.
• Experience working directly with agents and insurance carriers.
• Experience managing multiple underwriting cases simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage life insurance applications from submission through policy placement and in-force status.
• Monitor underwriting requirements and proactively follow up on outstanding items.
• Coordinate communication among agents, clients, carriers, and underwriting teams.
• Track case status and maintain detailed notes in CRM and case management systems.
• Identify underwriting challenges early and elevate concerns appropriately.
• Assist agents in understanding underwriting requirements, offers, ratings, and policy amendments.
• Support policy delivery and funding to ensure successful placement.
