SDI Staffing seeks a Life Insurance Licensing and Contracting Specialist for an agency in Atlanta, GA. The role centers on processing agent licenses and contracting requests, with an emphasis on accuracy and timely handling of documents.

Hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST, direct hire, in-office location. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $75,000, with eligibility for $70k+ for candidates with recent licensing and contracting experience.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of life and annuity insurance industry experience.
• Knowledge of licensing and contracting processes within life and annuity insurance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare incoming contracts for input into the electronic work stream.
• Contact agents for missing documents.
• Process a high volume of work within established accuracy and time goals.
• Review and analyze error notices on new policy applications.
• Notify agents of required licensing, Errors and Omissions coverage, and Anti-Money Laundering training.
• Process agent License and Appointments by performing necessary transactions to process state licensing, including payment of fees to state insurance.
• Complete agent terminations by sending letters and terminating agent record and state appointments in all required systems.
• Communicate with agents, field force, state insurance departments and vendors via telephone or email.

Our client is a premier distributor of life, annuity, long-term care, and securities-based insurance products serving financial professionals nationwide. You’ll be at the center of it all, working closely with Partners, Carriers, Advisors, and Marketers to ensure smooth processing of agent licenses and contracting requests.

Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST
Duration: Direct Hire
Workplace: In office
Pay: $50,000 to $75,000 (To qualify for $70k + you must have recent existing life insurance licensing and contracting experience.)
