Job Description:
As a commission-onlyLife Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for helping individuals and families protect their income, assets, and future through strategic insurance solutions. This includes educating clients on Term Life Insurance, Mortgage Protection, and Tax-Free Retirement strategies using products like Indexed Universal Life (IUL). This role is ideal for driven, self-motivated individuals who are passionate about financial education, sales, and making a long-term impact on clients’ lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Lead Generation:
Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities through warm leads, referrals, and networking. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
Client Needs Assessment & Consultation:
Conduct in-depth consultations to understand client goals regarding income protection, debt payoff, family security, and retirement planning.
Product Recommendations:
Provide tailored insurance solutions, including Term Life, Mortgage Protection, Final Expense, and Indexed Universal Life (IUL) for tax-free retirement planning.
Policy Management:
Assist clients with policy applications, underwriting process, coverage selection, and ongoing service needs.
Customer Support & Retention:
Deliver high-touch service and maintain long-term client relationships. Respond to questions, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
Regulatory Compliance:
Follow industry guidelines and company policies. Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal insurance regulations.
Continuous Learning:
Stay current with changes in life insurance products, financial planning strategies, tax law implications, and market conditions.
Qualifications:
Licensing:
ValidLife and Health Insurance License(or willingness to obtain prior to start). Additional certifications in financial services a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or sales is preferred but not required. Military veterans and career changers are strongly encouraged to apply.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities
Goal-driven and able to thrive in a commission-based environment
Technology:
Comfortable using CRM systems, virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom), and electronic application systems. Must be able to work remotely and independently.
Compensation:
100% Commission-Based.
