Job description

We are seeking motivated, coachable professionals with high integrity and strong people skills to join our Life Insurance Division.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role with unlimited income potential, supported by training, mentorship, and proven sales systems.

As a Life Insurance Agent with Empower, you will help families secure financial protection through Final Expense, Term, Mortgage Protection, Whole Life, and Indexed Universal Life (IUL) products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help clients identify their life insurance needs and present tailored solutions
  • Build long-term relationships by putting clients first and acting with integrity
  • Participate in weekly team huddles and ongoing training sessions
  • Maintain required state insurance licenses and comply with all industry regulations (AML, E&O, etc.)
  • Optional) Recruit and mentor agents once experienced, earning overrides through mentorship


Qualifications

  • Preferred: Active Life & Health Insurance license (we help motivated candidates get licensed)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial drive and a desire to help others
  • Ability to work independently, stay consistent, and manage time effectively
  • Sales, customer service, teaching, or entrepreneurial background a plus — but not required
