Role Description

The Life Insurance Agent role at Kemper is a full-time hybrid position based in St Martinville, LA, with opportunities for some work from home. In this role, the agent will prospect and engage potential clients, assess their life insurance needs, and recommend suitable policies that align with their financial goals and personal circumstances. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, preparing and presenting policy options, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records. The agent will provide ongoing customer service, support policyholders with claims and policy changes, and collaborate with internal teams and brokers to ensure a smooth client experience. Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage to effectively source, present, and close life insurance policies.
• Solid understanding of Insurance and Finance to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate coverage and financial protection solutions.
• Strong Customer Service skills to build trust, manage client relationships, and provide responsive support throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Relevant state life insurance licensing (or ability to obtain within a defined time frame).
