Towne Insurance in Williamsburg, VA is seeking an Account Manager Life/Health to join our Benefits team. The Account Manager Life/Health provides professional service to new and existing clients promptly and accurately.

The role focuses on managing the employee benefits book of business, supporting retention and growth, and acting as the primary liaison with carriers and clients. You will handle enrollments, renewals, and communications while maintaining client data in EPIC.

Qualifications

• Active life and health license (or willingness to obtain within 6 months) and prior client service experience.
• Strong computer skills with CRM/Office suite proficiency.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and carriers and manage inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Assist Benefits Consultant in managing an employee benefits book of business.
• Support account retention and growth of the existing book of business.
• Provide proactive, timely, and quality client support.
• Serve as primary contact with carriers and clients.
• Process and manage new business, renewals, and carrier negotiations.
• Participate in open enrollment and client meetings as directed.
• Prepare communications for renewals, open enrollment, and issue resolution.
• Create Excel reports and assemble admin/compliance materials for clients.
