Job summary

Valley Real Life is seeking a Life Groups & Young Adult Team Leader to support the Groups Ministry, with emphasis on launching new groups and growing Young Adult participation. You will collaborate closely with the Groups Team, lead volunteer groups, and participate in events and discipleship pathways.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years ministry experience or equivalent employment and volunteer-based experience.
• Related education, degree, or training preferred.
• Experience leading teams or volunteers required.
• Ordination preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Solid computer knowledge and experience with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Consistent launch of new groups including monthly group launches and Rooted groups.
• Work collaboratively with the Groups Team to achieve goals.
• Develop the Young Adult Ministry with the goal of steadily increasing the number of Young Adults in Life Groups.
• Participate in Groups Team activities such as Leader Rallies, Real Discipleship Training, and monthly Life Group Experiences.
• Be available for general ministerial duties, such as pastoral meetings, visits, and leading people through the ABCD Discipleship Pathway.
• Additional duties as assigned.
