Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Critical Care Transport Paramedic for the St. Vincent Medical Center Life Flight team in Ohio.

The role focuses on delivering urgent and critical care in air and ground transport, collaborating with transport nurses, and ensuring comprehensive patient assessment, documentation, and timely planning of care. Expected responsibilities include maintaining equipment, communicating with EMS and hospital staff, and representing Mercy Health in the community.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited paramedic program.
• At least 3 years paramedic field experience.
• Current Ohio paramedic license; CAMTS-certified or eligible.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS and other related certifications preferred or required within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent and critical care for patients transported via air or ground.
• Collaborate with critical care transport nurse to assess and plan care.
• Document clinical data and care provided during transport.
• Maintain professionalism and represent Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center and St. Rita’s Medical Center in the community.
• Coordinate with EMS and hospital teams to meet patient needs.
• Complete required training and maintain certifications; participate in committees and education meetings.
