Job summary

Sequoia Living, Inc. is seeking a Director of Life Enrichment to lead and develop the resident activity program across Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will supervise staff, coordinate volunteers, and ensure services meet regulatory standards while fostering a vibrant, resident-centered culture.

The role involves budgeting, program development, motor and social activities, and collaboration with health care teams to promote wellness and engagement for residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Recreation Therapy, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience in social or recreational program management recommended.
• CPR/First Aid and related certifications are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops short- and long-term goals for activities aligned with the community mission.
• Hire, supervise, train, and manage Activities Department staff and volunteers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain policies and manuals for activities.
• Oversee Fitness Center operations and personal training when needed.
• Plan group and individual activities, including exercise, aquatics, and worship opportunities.
