Job summary

Morningside House Senior Living in Hanover, MD seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant to design, coordinate and facilitate a variety of recreational and educational activities for residents. Reports to Life Enrichment Director and supports program development.

The role involves planning, implementing and evaluating activities, encouraging resident participation, and ensuring safety and budget adherence within the facility.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s degree or equivalent or six months to one year related experience or training.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and evaluate activities within a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and evaluating resident activities.
• Encourage participation in programs and activities.
• Escort residents on activities away from the property as assigned.
• Assist with registration for trips and programs.
